How to adjust 3PH to create tilt for Box Blade

Hi,

Newby tractor owner, MF GC1705. Bought a 4ft box blade about a 3 months ago and have levelled out my 150 metre driveway pretty well. Pot holes have started appearing again and I think the issue is not making a crown so the water can run off. I've read through some of the older threads and tried to work out how to adjust the 3PH to create a bit of a tilt for the box blade. Apologies if this has been answered already. Thanks for your help

Looking at the back of the tractor, you will see the adjustable lift arm on the right that is threaded, loosen the large nut so you can spin the cylinder to make it longer or shorter to the desired pitch.

Sorry about the newby post. I did see the the threaded lift arm and tried it. Didn't loosen the large nut first. Appreciate the help

You will find some topics asked many times here and others seldom. You can do a search to see if what you want to know has already been address but often you may have a slightly different twist to the issue or such so asking again is fine.

I have a 1705 also but my adjustable arm kept backing off even when I tightened the lock nut so I put a piece of wire on it to keep it from backing off.

After having lost a turnbuckle I now always safety wire mine and any other component that might come off.
Also serves to 'lock' your adjustments.
