Congrats on your purchase!! Just a quick question, how does the seat work on the backhoe with the cab in place? Can ya tell I'm a JD guy? LOL.
I'm glad to see the darling wife approves!!

I don't have any issues with the seat. If I lean back it just touches the glass of the cab. It does block opening the rear window which I view as a minor issue. I agree with other posts which talk about the hassle of moving the machine. I have to get off the hoe, get in the cab, move the machine... Just swiveling the seat around and going has it's advantages. For work where I have to keep moving the machine around I have my wife stay in the cab which has worked out well.

My wife had a pretty good case of sticker shock when we signed the papers. Once she saw the amount of work that could be performed in a short span of time she became a believer. She still cringes as the cost, especially with the economy as it is, but she is sold on the benefits of having a tractor.

I had to cut corners somewhere....

If I need to listen to tunes I'll use in-ear headphones (they provide 23db or so of quiting) and my ipod. In full disclosure, I thought the mount, antenna and such came standard. Silly me.
