That's what my grandpa said too! I don't really know? Is there any markings on them that will tell you how much they hold?

3.14 X r ^2 X length X 7.48 = gallons. The term r ^2 is 1/2 the diameter times itself. Example...a tank measures 4' wide and is 8 feet long:

3.14 X (2 X 2) X 8' X 7.48 = 751 gallons

In all honest there shouldn't be any! By the time i get done pressure washing it id say that the chance for a spark to catch it on fire or make it explode would be next to impossible!
