<font color="red">"... you just wanted to play with your backhoe, didn't you?" </font>
EastTexFrank, well, actually I wanted to work (don't use the P word) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif with the FEL but my calculations showed the tree too heavy to put the FEL under the tree to hold a sudden drop. I could just see the back end of the tractor shoot up. I then thought about putting the FEL on top of the tree but I would have to get too close and could see the tree hitting the grill or a wheel. So the last resort before the come-along was the BH. The angles looked good, I photographed it, had the wife standing by for emergency transport and did the break. The tree was not holding by much. I'm glad I got it on the ground before cutting on it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
The wife is glad that I am using TBN as my support group, she says that it makes me slow down and do things safely. Thanks all. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
