How to compare loader specs

Most FEL's specs are matched to the tractor they are designed for...
My Stoll FC 350 will lift a bucket full of sand which equates to 900#...
The bucket is 1/3 cu. yd...
The bucket is around 200# so that is 1100#...
With my NH 1720 psi at 2150# that matches Stoll's specs for the loader...

I'm not considering the 1726E because of its weight. I use my tractor for mowing, and the small B is only a couple hundred lbs more than my gc2400, but the 1726E is well over 2k lbs. good for loader work, not good for the weekly mowing. I can ballast up the B for my needs, then drop the weight for mowing.

The old 1526 or 1529 Masseys would be more comparable.

Good point about the lift height, I rarely lift anything to full height, so I didn't think about that factor.

Ah that makes sense

How much will it cost to upgrade?

My Kubota L3560 is 5,400 pounds. It has R4 Industrial Tires. I have no problem with it rutting St. Augustine turf over sandy loam as long as it is in 2-WD mode.

I'm obviously loosing some money potentially trading in a 3 year old machine, but cost in somewhat irrelevant, I don't want to be wasteful, but I want to get the best machine for my needs.

I'm jealous of your situation then. My GC2400 with MMM, loader, and myself in the seat weighs somewhat over 2K lbs, and I definitely have to be careful after heavy rain, or in the spring, or I definitely will leave ruts. I also try to change up my weekly mowing pattern, but there are some areas where I end up going over the same path each time, and I do notice some light rutting. If the tractor was much heavier, it likely wouldn't work for me needs.
