Wanted to post a new thread along the same lines as the other one except the unit in question is a 2005 Z-force 44. Why would a ZT mower stop the PTO in reverse when you are constantly going in all directions? It does not seem like it would be good for the PTO system of the drain on the engine everytime it has to bring the blades up to speed. I just bought this unit and I know it will supposedly void the warranty but I will take my chances. I also know that as long as both levers are not in reverse it will keep going but my yard has a LOT of obstacles and reverse it often required. I don't particularily need to mow in reverse, I just don't think the constant on and off could possibly be good for it. ANyone have any information? Thanks.

Glad you're liking your Z-Force!

Don't quote me on this, but I'd almost guarantee there is a mechanical switch [lever or button] behind each lever. The simplest thing to do is just move one or both out of the way.
If it's a single wire going to ground, just disconnect one or both sides, [if you don't want to move the switches].
If two wires (you can use a ohm-meter, but why) you can remove one of the wires, if this causes it to be always "triggered" then splice it to the other wire [on the same side that is].
