That reel mower is a collectors item here. You would get plenty of offers on that. They restore them. Wouldn't mind it myself. :)

Take one at a time when you go to town. Leave it in the back of the truck at the mall and it will probably be gone when you come out!

That is the one item I was wondering about. When I get back to our property I will try to take a pix of it and post. Quite a little machine-- dual wheels and front catch.

I just searched "antique tractor show northern California"...first one I saw was in Redding this weekend.
If there's one near you I would take pictures with you to it, or advertise as others have said.
About 10 years ago I was cleaning out a shed, old junk to me I had collected. I sold everything...it wasn't so much about the money as it was getting stuff to collectors.

Around here, just put it out at end of driveway with a big "FREE" sign on it. It'll be gone.

Back in Phoenix, AZ, best way was to put it in front of your gate with a chain and padlock on it. It'll be gone.

I cleaned out a flower bed of Mondo grass .piled on street curb to get a pick up to load and while having lunch watched a man load it into the trunk of his car. If had asked would of took it to his address.
Have joked for years that it will not be touched if "free" sign is put up .a price tag it will be gone before your back into the house.
Also just loaded a 14' trailer with lawn mowers, engines and cast steel . pipe and just junk .salvage yard paid 54 bucks if I unloaded. since had a old metal gate at bottom of trailer tied a chain to a junked car and pulled off the trailer

Would of carried a load today except the weather . waiting for time to dry out .

I have a DR walk behind trimmer. Got for free but paid good money to have the carb serviced after it had sat for a long time. Tried to sell it cheap, but our HF equiv. had a sale on cheap Chinese walk behind trimmers which makes mine virtually unsalable. For a couple hundred bucks it's worth one job to me so I might as well keep it.

Makes you want to cry!

the cut that makes is like someone spent hours cutting the grass with a sharp scissor!. I'd never get rid of one of those, since it's the best for the health of the grass, and you can't beat the neatness of the cut, it's really nice!..

When I closed my equipment repair business after 16 years and retired 2 years ago I had over 25 used small engines 8-13 hp almost all were Honda's.
I loaded them up on my trailer and donated them to a regional non-profit Boys Ranch/Home.
Not sure if they had a small engine program or auctioned them off but hopefully someone got some use out of them. ??
I didn't ask for a tax donation slip but could have.

It seems that in northeast Mississippi the way people get rid of low value equipment is park it in the yard and let it rust away.

The 1st Thursday through Sunday in August they have a US 127 yard sale, runs pretty much through the entire state of KY, real big event.

Had a friend that finally got tired of all the junk he'd accumulated, so he pulled his wagon up in front of his pole barn and started throwing stuff on, not knowing or caring about the yard sale, just wanted to haul junk off.

About an hour into his cleaning, he came out and found 3-4 people poking through the stuff on the wagon and asking how much he wanted for it. Before the day was through, he'd sold almost $100 worth of his junk and didn't have near as much to haul off as he thought he would.
