How to fix Washboard dump truck floor

well you will think iam pulling your leg but it will work great. i used to work for the rail road they dont care what or how they load their dump trucks .they had one worst shape than yours our boss told us to put plywood down over the old bed then we welded a new metal floor over plywood .i thought the boss went nuts but he knew what he was doing.the floor never had another wave show in it agian.

I agree, do nothing or cut the old floor out and replace it right. Added weight, moisture will rust out new floor, the new floor can't be properly welded in resulting in failure faster than normal. Good points made and I do agree with them.
