How to keep gooseneck trailer electric cable from getting caught in bumper?

I put mine by the wheelwell, closest to where the pigtail drops out of my 5th wheel RV trailer. My truck frequently gets stuff thrown in the back; there's a piece broken out of the flip up cover.

Think about that when you decide where to place the receptacle in you truck bed.

Otherwise, my installation was simple. Hardest part was running to hardware store that had a hole saw the right size to cut the hole. Rest was plug and play.
