How to know if a tractor has a lien on it ?

Pretty much all of the big oems have a stolen tractor database available to
all of their dealers.

I would expect that. I have personally used Kubota's only. For other used tractors, I have known the seller
very well, or have successfully tracked down the selling dealer.

Second owners who get loans on their tractors can add difficulties, yes. The risk to the lender may be greater,
however, since titles don't usually exist.

Got it locked in the barn now.
Came with a 60" New Holland 105A tiller & Quick Mount 72" bucket.
Bought new in May of 2013. I saved about $12000. from new with 300 hours on the tractor.
