I hate ladders, so when the trim on our place needed painted, I rented this little machine. For the money, I'll never use a ladder again.

Those baskets are fun Don. But for real fun you need to ride the crane ball. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Actually they have a seat similar to a swing in the playground. But it is a ball!!!!

I can relate to hanging the fillial on top.

Interesting, Most rental i have been to prohibit painting when using the man lifts.

That is interesting. From looking at the Genie in the pictures, its mostly been used for painting.

Has only 500 hours on it, and many different colors of paint now.

Wonder why they prohibit painting in them? This is rented from a small lumber yard/rental yard in a very small town, you can rent anything from a drill bit to a D-7 or Cat track hoe, and very reasonable rates. This Genie rents for $200 for the weekend.

I'm sure the paint restriction has a lot to do with drips, overage, and appearance.

One of the cardinal rules of letting others use tools is folks really don't want to be the first to damage new stuff. But don't blink about dinging beat up stuff. So keeping the stuff looking new as long as possible is a good thing.
