how to pick up rocks

Go over the yard with your snowblower--I guarantee it will find all the rocks!! Sorry, I couldn't resist.

thank you all for the help. i read about the rockhound and it looks like a great machine but i'd rather not have to rent a bobcat if i already have a tractor. i might buy a rake and give that a shot. as for picking up a bunch of rocks, i don't have a problem with that as long as they're in a pile and not scattered all over the place. i'm also spreading this from huge piles so i cant sift it.

snow blower? don't tempt me.

rockhound will pick them up or a power rake (harley type) can windrow or chase them into piles, making it easy to scoop or pick by hand.

Either are well worth the rental fee.
