how to recharge the hydraulic system after leak

hi

i broke the piston to my FEL on my JD4100. Lost a lot of hydraulic fluid.

what do i have to do once i repair/replace the piston to recharge my hydraulics?

i don't have a clue if there is one system and all attachments run off of it, or does the FEL have a separate system from the REAR attachments?

Usually nothing but cycling the loader functions from one extreme to another several times. This will purge the system of any trapped air.

Mads got it right, not a big deal. I blew a hose on my Massey FEL , just repaced fluid and cycled.

I'm thinking he is wanting to know how to refill his hydraulic fluid that he lost. Not sure about your tractor but most use the fluid out of the transmission.

After cycling, check your hyd fluid level to see it it needs to be topped off.
