how to remove loader with no stand legs

My case international 585 has a quick disconnect for the front end loader - though the loader does not have any legs to swing down and support the loader. Will the bucket hold the loader arms up or do I need to tie the loader to a roof/ tree? What is your experience with removing loaders without support legs?

my jd870 didnt need legs, it just balanced itself. only issue was if i left it off for a few days, sometimes the hydraulics would lower itself. id have to reconnect hoses to raise it back up to reconnect. my kioti has the legs. the JD was easier to hook up and remove overall.

have no idea on your model. cant you do a search of the loader model number and try to find a users manual or some info?

By all means try to find a manual for your loader - perhaps online? The stands don't always swing down. There may be supports slid into a hollow part of the loader frame and pinned in place. Look it over really well.

To remove the loader off my old John Deere 2020 I built a tall frame and hung a chainfall from it to hold the loader up when it was not attached to the tractor. There is no way it would stand up on its own.

Fill the bucket with wet dirt or gavel to counter-balance the rear part of the loader.

May not be feasible, depending on how the quick-attach feature works.
