Hey Richard, me and a bud pulled his wheel off his tractor, brought it in to the co-op, and they all looked at us as if we were the biggest idiots out there. 
Actually easier to handle on the tractor at some point, service truck calls are about $50 here, plus the repair.
It worked out ok on his though, we had to fix (weld holes, sandblast and paint) his rim before it would work anyway.
Good luck, they are heavy, careful that it does not "start" to fall, as once it get's going, there is not much stopping it.
