True, But klm revived it a few minutes ago. He's having the same problem.

I think ratchet straps are the best way to deal with stuck PTO shafts. They stretch and give while still applying a lot of tension. Easy to attach and tighten incrementally. Works on shafts that are stuck "closed" and won't extend or just to pull the implement end off.
