I have kioti 2552 tractor. Recently it started leaking fuel at the fuel pump. By tightening the screws I was able to slow the drip down some. My guess is I have a bad gasket. Searching online it looks like just replacing the pump for $58 is the way to go. I did not see anybody selling just the gaskets.

My main question is how do I replace the pump without introducing air into the fuel lines. I ran it out of gas once and had to bleed the lines. I do not want to do that again!

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Replace the pump. Bleed the fuel lines; not a big a deal. Then check the engine oil (smell test and dip stick level) for Diesel contamination; some lift pump failures will allow fuel to get into motor oil. A tiny amount of fuel is not a big deal but enough to raise the oil level on the dip stick warrants an out-of-cycle oil change.
