I agree now that I think about it, drive the stud in. I've done it on vehicles where you can't drive it in or drive it in very well and that's when I pull it in.
It is better to use a press to reinstall it, then to beat it into submission with a hammer.

Dusty, Rick! good to hear from you 'old timers'! :thumbsup: I love hammers and presses but I still say call Richard and ask the manufacturer's opinion. Again, love my spacers!If you know how to use the hammer and support the hub properly, beating it into submission works very well.
