I can't imagine shipping something like this is going to be cheap. By the time you deduct the cost of shipping from the $3000 your saving. How much are you really going to be saving ? I would have another talk with my local dealer,Go right to the owner if possible, explain your price concerns and see if he isnt willing to make up some of the difference in other ways. I suspect he wants your business as much as you want a good tractor at an acceptable price. It can never hurt to have our local dealer in our corner.
After all, We all know there are times when we need our dealer to be there for us, to back us up and step up to the plate when necessary. I would rather have my dealer say, Yes, he bought his tractor from us, darn right we will take care of him. VS. Oh yah, thats the guy that bought over seas and had his tractor shipped here just to save a few bucks, Yah we will service / repair his tractor for him but we will get to it after we taken care of our real customers first. Now I know that $3000 isn't a few bucks, but again. By he time youe deduct shipping costs, how much are you really saving ?
Good luck with your decision and welcome to the TBN
