Tractor
Kubota B3030
Our grandsons, ages 4 and 7, devised this equipment (see attachment) to foil thieves from stealing their dad's new Kubota L2800 tractor. The setup probably would work on various tractor brands and sizes.
If the grandsons decide to market the equipment, I'll let you know. But as a stopgap you might be able to rig a similar but less-professional setup yourself from materials at hand.

Cute! It will also keep the hours down on the tractor because dad will run out of work time before he can get to the seat. He might also want to put any rolls of barb wire he has very out of reach for a few years. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Hey, tell those grandsons that until I saw their protection, I was gonna drive over there and borrow (I don't them to worry more about it being stolen) that tractor and do a lot of my work with it! But I saw their system and decided I couldn't get to it......./forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

My guess is they want to make sure it is around when they are a little older so they can drive it--just like Grandpa.

Ah Life, enjoy it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That is a great idea! If they could use sticky rope or bungee cords it would catch the thief like a spider web. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Last saturday, we had a little family gathering and cookout. My grandkids did their rendition of your anti-theft proceedure.

They turned off the fuel petcock on one of my (diesel) tractors. Monday, I started it, knowing there was a full tank of fuel, only to be jolted out of my comfortable state when it "ran out of fuel".

I doubt the average run of the mill tractor thief would have stuck around to bleed the injector pump.

All in all, I like your system better. (It's far more colorfull!)
