How to type in Word, in Spanish

Would anyone happen to know how to type Spanish, in Word for Windows?

I know there is a way to access the accents and characters, but do not know how to do it.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

If you only need a couple characters, you can use the Character Map (Run... charmap) and copy and paste the letters you need. Otherwise, I'm not sure how else to do it for I never have a need to type in another language.

Maybe change your keyboard to Spanish while you type in Word? I don't know if that works but, worth a try.

I'm on XP, but have Office 2000...

You may need your media if you didn't perform a full install on initial installation.

You can convert Windows to Spanish but not Office That is a Micro$oft money maker there. In Window$ you go to the control Panel then to Regional and Language Options.

You can buy a translator Software for Office, But that costs Money.

But there is another way Use Open Office Spanish Version - It is FREE. I like it better the M$ Office. & it is compatible to M$ Office. Below is a link I started a few weeks back.

Hobbyfarm was right you can use part of Office in Spanish but not all of it.

I might have sounded hard on MS - any MS people out there sorry.

I just find it hard to under stand them sometimes.

Uhmmm, That would be the Word toolbar at the top.
It can also translate for you.

No, they type out what they want in English and convert it to Spanish - in MS Word (Pro Ed.)
