How to type in Word, in Spanish

Please tell me, you don't really think all these office bimbos know proper Spanish. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

But the question is can you speak it? I am not talking ordering up a beer or getting slap by a nice young lady.

I can't - wish i could. I used to speak good German but that was years ago!!

BTW,
I live about 14 miles North of the Mexican border. Some days I'm up for a couple hours before I hear more than a couple of words of english.
Been here all my life; so Spanish is a natural. And most of the time while speaking here we tend to flop back and forth between English and Spanish - A 10 word sentence may have six Spanish words in it.
This is the border, and it is in our culture. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I almost forgot - also learning American Sign Language so we can communicate better on the college campus with those in need.

I remember taking Spanish in 7th grade.. we immediatly got a substitute teacher.. one of my friends mother that lived right down the street.. she was Spanish.. I had to be good in that class! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

My Spanish used to be passable. I took it in high school and worked in Venezuela and Peru for a few years. When I went out with Spanish speaking friends, they used to speak English for my sake. Their English was a lot better than my Spanish but, like someone else said, after a few beers in the evening the conversation used to degenerate into the weirdest mixture of the two. I actually found it a good way to pick up words and phrases if I was sober enough to remember them next day. Boy, those Venezuelans and Peruvians do like to party.
