Front-End Loader How to use a Skid steer forks with JD QA?

I got a deal on some Skid Steer forks with the skid steer QA. I hav a JD loader with the JD qa. Is this a simple matter of buying the hooks and pins from JD parts and welding them on the skid steer?

Yes, it can be that easy, or you can make your own easy enough with CAT3 pins and angle iron like the pics below. Post a picture of the JDQA up against the rear of the forks and I can be more specific.

There is a quick attach (QA) adaptor from John Deere. I looked at going this route but was talked out of it by the dealer because the set up is heavy.

Yes, and it's more money...the JDQA is a great setup.
