How useful are chippers?

Thanks for all the replies. I think that it would be a waste of money as I would be spending too much time doing 500 corn stalks, especially since 5hp is at the lower end of the power spectrum.

If the cornstalks are whole, bundle them and sell them for Halloween if there is a market for them near you.
