How was my loading and tiedown job?

My opinion is that you've done a fair job of planning for, and securing your load. I like that you thoughtfully called in heavy-lift machinery to separate the functional pieces of your equipment. You also have alligned the uprights of the base-unit over the centerline of your trailer and used the correct number of tie-downs, although the type of tie-downs might need some improvement as mentioned by others.

Next step: Get your tongue out of your cheek...its really difficult to taste and swallow beer without the full range of motion of your tongue! :licking:

Did the trailer leave marks on the load? Oh wait they are the same colour not a problem.

Hauled a fairly heavy load this afternoon.
The truck handled it ok, but it seemed a little tongue heavy.
Should I have been using chains for this large of a load?
Should I have moved it back towards the axle?

Looks like even with all those straps that the brother in law still managed to fall off the truck?

And use ratchet binders not lever binders.

I certainly would have used chains and binders for a load like that.

What no support vehicles either?..What a scofflaw.

I am glad I don't live near this guy and share the road with him.
