My dads two deer he killed in Wisconsin.

My first buck this year taken today.

144 green score, 5 years old, 231 yds quartering away one shot one kill a former Marine and his 30-06!

No pics and no trophy on the wall but had an great hunt after a slow start to the season. Was able to take my nephew hunting for the first time this year. Put him in my box blind over a wheat field and I hunted the timber behind him. 30 minutes into the hunt I shot a nice doe. As I was taking my ear protection off another doe spotted me that I didn't see. I froze and she stomped several times trying to get me to move. After about 30 seconds she turned and walked off into the wheat field. Nephew shot her. Two does down in about 40 minutes and a very fun hunt.

Great hunt! It's as much or more fun to put somebody on a deer as it is to harvest yourself.

Got this 8-pt on opening day of muzzleloader season. Shot it with an inline ML rifle I won in a turkey shoot.
