I would say it should be cheaper and easier to repair the pump leak.

The plumbing for the FEL is.... well, "interesting". Can you post more photos of it? either here or better yet the hydraulic section (just be sure to tell them that you didn't do it, you just bought it ;))

Don't flip them, swap sides with them. Flipping them will put your cleats going the wrong way.

If the wheels are flipped over to the correct position, the tire tread will be going the wrong way. Were the tires mounted the wrong way? Someone must have mounted the wheels this way to get more stability in the front. Just some thoughts.

Left tire goes on the right side, right tire on left side, tread will remain the same direction.

Yes, it will be less stable but there will be less stress on the front axle seal. Also, when you make a turn in 4x4, the tracking should match up better, less binding.

This is a random insertion into this thread. You should start your own thread and give us some background. But im sure what your talking about is gear oil in the front drive axle that (if you have 4wd) that has had water get in and is now leaking out or overflowing out a breather. That or you have engine oil that is mixed with water that is leaking out of the front of the motor? Just guesses though. You need to find out where its coming from and change it and try and fiqure ouyt how to stop the water intrusion.

You're right about giving some background, but I figured, since I started the thread it would be ok :D

Anyway, there isnt much background, bought the thing used, haven't done anything but put about 10 hours on it, it's ran pretty solid so far other than a starter that needs to get percussed when it's -10 outside...

After a bit of snowplowing this weekend, I noticed some white milky stuff under the right wheel hub... I'll check and take some pictures.
