Good morning folks! After months of lurking the forums and admiring ya'll for your hard work, humor, generosity, inginuity and helping nature I have finally joined up. My name is Stewart and I am starting a 7.5 acre veggie operation this year. Im a career fireman and a registered nurse but am no stranger to agriculture. I majored in crop and soil science in highschool, was a leader in the FFA program and raised commercial poultry all thru my teens and early 20's. I bought our small farm in Gumboro, Del a year ago and have been working 2 full time gigs to set up the financials to get started farming for this year. Im currently heavily researching tractors to find the one closest to do all i will need to do on the farm. You input has guided many of my decisions thus far (Thank you!)

Welcome brother. Retired, lifetime member of FFA. Congrats on your accomplishments. Most of us (firefighters/med) have good sense, and once again, you have proved it.
