- Mccormick Deering Farmall
My main tractor is 81 years old this year: 1931 Farmall Regular. I just spent the morning on it winching rotten, sodden 1000lb bales of haylage out of a slough, onto my half-a-pickup trailer, to bring them home for garden mulch.
I bought the tractor for $500 in 1979 from a lying salesman at a since-defunct dealership in Flemington, New Jersey. It is my buddy.
It Never fails to start, down to 10 deg below zero.
Also have a grey-market Yanmar 1500, which the kids can drive, and a couple of 1950 A-C WD's, one of which I used to use to run havbine and baler.
