I plow a few of my neighbors as a favor to them. One is almost 1/4 mile long but she does not have the money to have it plowed. She is a very nice lady so I do not mind. This year, I welded an attachment plate onto a used V-Plow. Cut my plow time easily by a half. In deep snows (>12") and ice on the driveway, the regular angle plow who throw my tractor to the side some when plowing up her steep driveway. This is even with studded chains. So I would have to keep turning the tractor to the side and dump the snow, back up and plow another 50' or so and do the same thing. Now, with the V-plow, I was able to run right up the center of the driveway even with 16- 18" of snow. When I get to the top, I reconfigure the plow to be a reverse V snow pusher and clean out her parking area, then reconfigure it to a regular angle plow and push back the two sides of the driveway, then push plow to clean up the end/road. I am extremely pleased with the setup. That plow was the main driving force for adding the extra hydraulic circuits. That and I also never have to undo the hydraulics for the Quick Attach "pins" - they are now permanently hard plumbed to the lever under the joystick.
