A Howse 3 point fork lift came with the used tractor I recently bought. It is a model SXFLPF. The tractor has a quick release bucket (LS 3104). What I would like to do is have it mounted on the FEL. I have been looking at a number of references for these forks but don't see how I can convert them to the FEL without welding to a quick detach plate. I would like to retain the option of using the 3 point if I choose at a later date. The 3 point lift pins are held on by 4 really stout Ubolts. Could the same Ubolts be used to secure to a quick detach plate? I've looked at the Howse web site and could'nt find a method to do this conversion. Thanks for any ideas.

You could get a 3 point adapter for the quick attach on the FEL.

Or you might be able to make it work like the Speeco Ultra Fork, that mounts front or rear.

You can get SSQA to 3pt adapters at many equipment dealers. Northern Tool has one, basically an SSQA plate with a 3pt quick hitch welded on. Probably Everything Attachments has one too. E-bay is also a good place to look.

I adapted a pair of used FEL forks for 3pt firewood service:

Amazing how much weight they can lift and the traction gets better as the weight goes up!
Conversion was easy - just added a clevis for the top link and bought some long hitch pins
for the lift arms:
