HST fan replacement for GC1720

I am not sure how others have replaced the HST fan but it was a real pain. I had to take the floorboards off to get some clearance and still had to bend the blades weakening it in the process to get it to go in.

Here is the new one in and the old one being used to hold the floorboard up.

Even on the 2300 series it's a real pain to change that fan.

This is the exact reason I ordered a skidplate for my 1723. That doesn't look like much fun.......

I ordered the gofast protector. I hope that is the last time I will have to change that fan. Seems like a design flaw from a maintenance perspective. I hope there aren’t too many other things like this on this tractor. Other maintenance items have been easy for sure.
