I think your go pedal stop may have been misadjusted when you got it, allowing it to rock too far forward - - the full speed position. The manual says not to adjust because someone may think they can go faster and push harder by making the pedal travel further, when in fact they are causing abuse of the HST. My BX1500 has not made that noise but it will only come close to stall under full pedal and hi load. I think you should get to the point that you are having the noise and then adjust the front pedal stop bolt out about 2 turns. If this stops it make sure you can still bog your engine down and readjust so that you can (short of causing the noise). I would also talk to the factory about what damage the misadjustment may have caused.
