Hu my power bill went up a little

mine was also where the high tension lines blew it out when it blew the lighten arestor on the meter. They lock "my" box if I cut their lock on my box they charge me out the backside
IMO by them locking it. If there is a problem then it is their place to tell me

Ok check this out.....They now admit it can't be correct and want to "make things right with us".

They can't make the bill "go away" They have to send me a check for the high bill + late fees and I have to sign it send it back to them and they put it in my account


Seems to me one department will not admit their mistake so the other department will pay.
Oh well I don't care it seems I will soon be done with this just in time for the next hurricane seasion
