John, there's two reliefs in the system. From the charge pump oil flows to the filter. Prior to the filter there is a "filter protective relief valve" mainly for cold oil start ups. Oil then flows through the filter then on to the HST systems, the charge relief is just after the filter. If you look under your tractor on the left side just inboard of the HST filter you will see two allen head plugs right next to each other. The inboard plug is the filter relief and the outboard plug is the charge relief. They are the same exact valves. Charge relief is set at 342-370 PSI and filter relief should be set at 43 PSI higher than charge relief. They are shim adjustable. Therefore filter relief should have more shims.
