Hummingbird Moths

I have seen a few but like others not often and not a lot of them...

first I can remember was back int he 80s and thought it was a baby humming bird at first. flitted around too quick to see it then the cat got it and I managed to get a better look, I got it away from the cat with little damage as he was just holding it down with both paws.

I have never seen one of these in Ohio. It's a pretty interesting looking moth and the pics much appreciated. The only real big moths I have seen around here are Luna moths. And we only see a couple of them couple every summer.
