Hunting question

There are some really sophisticated camera/video systems out there that will allow you to view in real time from anywhere in the world via the internet.

Some simple cameras are available for under $100 that will take a picture of your trespassers.

Just do a search for game cameras and you'll be amazed at the availability.

Sounds like you want to prosecute whomever you catch. A game camera will for sure at least get you a picture with day, date, and time. A more sophisticated system with internet capability will allow you to "watch" your property even if you are not there at the time.

Well good, you got a fence around all of it than,,,maybe a few more signs,,and a little walking two or three days a year in hunting seasons,,[or 4 wheeling,250 acres is a lot of ground],,yeah, one of them cameras would be a good idea,if you knew where they were getting on your property at,might see some critters too,,,thingy

Time for your sign: Trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again.

The deer you may see here are on private property. There are no public areas for miles around. Please, no hunting and no trespassing.

Thingy: Yes, there happens to be a fence around it (border of farm/TVA). Also, TVA has put their OWN markers up so people would know where their boundary is. I think however, though they might have put signs up, the probably only put up “5” (making up a number) instead of the 150 it might REALLY take (another made up number to illustrate the point) to clearly delineate the border. I've never actively looked for them nor counted, but I've seen one for sure.

Eiznekcm: Interesting name and hello Craig! I’m on Tellico lake, across from the village.

Richard,
My last name spelled backwards.:)

Its not a bait station......sounds like a bow hunter. Make some more frequent rounds back there. Even though you are in the right remember you never know just who you are dealing with, if the apple was that fresh I can assure you were watched. Could of been someone who arrowed a deer and was giving fair chase....should of came and asked / told you they had a deer down on your land if that was the case. Our land is bordered by Corp of Enginer land on 3 sides so it happens.

Were you under a tree. If you looked up you may have found him right over you in a tree stand.

I dont know about anywhere else but in Arkansas we have gone to a purple paint system. Since about the first thing anybody illegally hunting on your land does is to blow holes in a sign that says no tresspassing or not hunting they have gone to a painted system. If you spray purple paint on trees or fenceposts around your property that counts as a no tresspassing sign. They even sell purple T posts for people that want that kind of thing. I have seen people just spray a 4 inch wide belt of purple on every fence post on the outer perimeter of their property.
