Hurricane Katrina - We can help at TBN
Good morning,
Sending our prayers, blood and contributions to relief agencies is desperately needed today.
All of us at TBN can do much more.
We can serve as a great information sourcing tool for all the folks in the Gulf States area seeking items to help them survive and recover.
I suggest to Mohammed to established a new "heading" Katrina Relief. We could use the special forum area to help answer questions, searches, Etc. for individuals and dealers.
Example..
We have information to help dealers and citizens find overstocks of generators, skid steer loaders , chippers, many more items.
We have contacts with many companies manufacturing Grapple Buckets and Parts that will become in very short supply during the next few days.
We may have customers and dealers that may have interest in going down to the Gulf States and helping folks with equip. and volunteers.
We can offer advice to help folks NOT BE taken advantage of by price gougers.
For customers or dealers that need to relocate loved ones until they can find nearby housing... many of us will make extra rooms in our homes and rental space available for the survivors.
Dealers trying to recover, in need of delivery trucks, etc or special items can probably find help from many of us.
I know that many of you will have lots of other ideas.
This is the most incredible challenge our nation has faced in a long time. The government cannot do it all.
Our neighbors are suffering deeply, right here, right now and on our soil.
Several years ago, here in NC, after hurricane Floyd... we had a huge area (about the size of Maryland) underwater for over a week days. The help that volunteers contributed made an enormous difference.
Let's see if we can be a part of the "positive difference" for the residents and dealers that come to TBN for information.
