hurricane lanterns / glass / old torches

One of the managers where I work has a small collection of glass hurricane lanters, and an odd torch or two. All look to be old.. like early 1900 or older.. etc. She knows I do alot of computer searching for tractor stuff, and wondered if I'd ever run across any web sites that might help her identify or date some of these items.

She looked for patent marks.. but some say pat pending.. etc..

any help is appreciated...

can't help you out there, but i went to an Estate sale this morning(don't think the old guy evere threw anythig out) and they had a bunch of lanterns and such, but being i know nothing about them i just gave them a once over., but threre was some old stuff there. wish i knew more about them, But then i wish i knew more about lots of things /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
