Yeah, we don't hear much about Henri, but quite a bit about Tennessee. That was a horrible flood. It's hard to prep for something that has never happened in history. I figure that's why so many people died.

Even if they lived through it, flood insurance is rare in Tennessee. They are going to have to redraw the FEMA flood maps, too late to help anyone.

for about 35 minutes last night around 9pm it was coming down at a rate of over 4 inches an hour here. we had upgraded sump pumps a couple years back to higher flow models, the pumps went into boost mode (backup pump turns on as well) and it still almost didn't keep up, and the pump was 2x more flow then the old pump that was used for 20 years. We have complete backup units on shelfs here. i drove through 3 flooded roads again.

I also went camping last Thursday and had a actual river flowing under my rv at one point. weather is definitely more extreme anymore
