Husky 55 Won't Run

Need to check your impulse grommet to make sure good. Good time to check the little rubber intake boot too.

Non serviceable meaning that the screen is not removable from the inside of the one piece muffler that is either crimped together or welded.Similar to a catalytic converter.

This screen is held on by a screw outside the muffler on these. They are "serviceable". I initially thought you meant "non serviceable" because they were no longer available or something because the screen on these are so accessible.

To op. If it is this, this grommet, boot and/or the entire partition is available on Amazon.
The 55 is a great running saw with high compression. May be a little hard to start now and again but well worth the cheap fix.

With working on so many models between the husky line and the poulan line it is hard to remember what muffler type is used on what model.

Muffler screen is OK, I can see right through it. But I will look into the fuel line. Maybe plug the end, blow in, and see if it holds air.
