I have a Husky GT2548 that I've used for a little over 4 years. It uses the Kohler Command 25 hp engine and has run well up till last week. It now surges unless the mower deck is engaged. It you pull out the choke a bit with the deck disengaged the surging stops. After it has run for a while and you try to reduce the engine speed, no matter how much you move the throttle lever the engine speed remains constant.
Any ideas what to look for?
