Did the bar get hot before or after it stopped oiling? I had a Solo that I ran with too dull of a chain - that got the chain and the bar really hot, evidently enough to slightly warp the little plastic oil pump drive shaft (sits just behind the clutch). It warped just enough to make it jam and thus quit oiling.

got hot after it stopped oiling, the blade was sharp, the was definitly no oil comming out. i wish the owners manual showed more info its hard to find pump. i was going to take the hole saw apart and troubleshoot it but i was pissed off a bran new saw wasnt working right, so i took a shot in returing it luckaly they exchanged it.
