Husqvarna Dealer Policy

   / Husqvarna Dealer Policy #31
Husqvarna is rolling the marketing dice and hoping for a good outcome IMO.

If they can sell enough "consumer saws" through the box stores to generate revenue, they can afford to have a few dissatisfied customers that get fed up with poor service when they try to get their saw fixed at WalMart, Canadian Tire, etc.

Not just good financial outcome...From what i've read and heard from a dealer (good guy, I have no reason to not trust or believe him) is part of the reason Husky is in the big boxes to begin with is emissions. Apparently here in the United States of Amerika there is law/regulation similar to the CAFE rules that apply to the automakers where the "average emissions" for all the equipment sold is at XX level. With the ever tightening regulations, they can tune the Home/Consumer level saws to be VERY good at emissions (translates to less power, longevity, etc) which then allows them to sell more pro-level saws with NO restrictions.
