Husqvarna PZT-60 Zero Turn

Hello. A zero turn came with the home we bought last year and I’m sure they never maintained it. Less than 200 hours. Used it last summer. This spring I changed the belt, blades, oil and all filters. Runs great. However, noticing leaks and then today while mowing the right side drive started grinding. The longer I went the worse it got. I have to top the 20W50 off every time I use it.

I am assuming my hydro drive on that side needs replaced as I’ve read that is a sign it is worn out.

Agree or have other tips? How difficult are they to replace? Thanks

I'd say get underneath anyway and have a look. Rule out the external things first regarding the leak and the noise. 200 hours isn't much. If it comes down to changing it out, you'll see it could very well be a DIY project. Hydro Gear has a good tech support team for questions that you might have and instructions for getting it up and running.
