Husqvarna Trimmer Gurus Wanted ???

I recently purchased a Husqvarna 326 ldx trimmer but now I've run into a minor snag..... How do I tell if I have a T25 or T35 trimmer head?



They look the same but they have the ability to take different size line.

Have a look at these pics and compare to what you have. The 327LDX which is current, comes with a 35 so id assume the 326 does as well

I run Gatorline. Usually .80 or .95. Both heads should run common sizes of line, but the 25 maxes out at .95. Thats plenty. I never run larger than 95.

Or even better yet, ditch the factory husky head and get a Shindawa Speed Feed. You'll never look back. Truly the best head in the business. ANd the fastest/most painless to reload

The 35X is the standard model for your machine i believe. It has a white ring around the blue button. Have a look at the specs here :http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/products/trimmers/327ldx/#specifications

The "standard" 35 (minus the white ring) is a universal for other brands, hence all the adapters.

Anyways, according to husky's specs, your machine comes with a 35. This makes since as its one of their largest trimmers.

Personally, id follow my above advise and go for a Shindaiwa ( aka Oregon )speedfeed. I might sound like i work for shindawa (i dont ) but it really is night and day better than even the best husky head.

That head does look pretty good but so far I haven't had any issues with the Husqvarna head....if it ever gives me a problem I'll look for the Speed Feed.:thumbsup:
