Husqvarna vs. Stihl

   / Husqvarna vs. Stihl #51
I’ve worked with chainsaws a big chunk of my life, and good friends with a ‘old’tree trimmer.
He uses Echo chainsaws followed by old homelites. Lightweight and small is what he prefers, and he hand files all his chains.
I prefer Stihl if I was buying one today, have a 10-12 year old Stihl MS210 that’s ´ been used HEAVILY, and a 6 foot pole saw. My backup or when the tree is already fallen is a Homelite XL Textron. The old homelites are stout.
I also hand file my chains after every couple uses.

That's funny. All my Stihl saws put out great gobs of oil, all over everything.

Many have a adjustment screw, all I've seen you have to remove the blade to access the adjustment screw.

On my pro level Stihls the oiler adjustment is accessible without removing the bar or chain. You need a thin screwdriver like those used for carb adjustment.
