Husqvarna YTH 1542 XP
I was changing a flat tire on my Husgverna YTH 1542 XP . The tractor was on a slope. When I set it down thought the parking brake was on. Tractor proceed to move down the slope backwards. Jumped on and hit the brake it kept going. Now the transmission does not work. No movement forward or backwards. The belt is attached and turns the input shaft to the transmission.

Called the local shop and they didn't have any ideas. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Sounds like the neutral lever has been activated. Look at rear of machine and you will find a rod / lever with a little bend as a grip. Make sure it is all the way in

I am with Allsorts on this.
On hydrostatic transmissions there is always a means to disconnect the drive from the wheels so you can push the tractor is the engine does not start.
On zero turn mowers which have two transmissions there is a disconnect means on each side of the tractor.
