Not sure where I left off, but the issue technically hasn't been resolved.

The issue is two-fold.
1. The yellow wire coming from the t-stat.....has full voltage when unhooked from the furnace. When hooked back to the furnace.. .it drops to 18v. No issues, it isn't falsely telling the unit to run or anything, but just don't sound right.

2. The bard gvdm-26 desuperheater pump....same thing as the t-stat. With 24v supplied to the board....it's passing full voltage out the wire I have hooked to A terminal when unhooked from the furnace. Hook it up, and it drops to about 18.

I am thinking maybe this is a ground/common issue???

Only way I can relate it is like this:
Imagine a typical 120v circuit, with a light or something hooked up. If you unhook the neutral from the breaker panel, that neutral will show 120v on the meter right. Hook it up so its grounded again....and now the whole neutral wire will show 0v.

So I am wondering if something is messed up in the furnace control board, and that the terminals aren't properly closing the circuit.??

I took the bard pump unit and instead of splicing into the y1 or A terminal. I hooked it direct to the 24v line supplying the compressor contactor. Brought the voltage on that line to zero when the compressor was off. And works fine now.

So the unit is working like it's supposed to now, but I technically don't think it's correct
