Kubota L3130HST w/LA723 loader
I am interested in this unit. It looks like it would be the tool for my brush and tree clearing project. Does anyone have any experience with this or know of a good dealer - one that might make a good deal. There are no Texas dealers listed.

I bought mine direct from the manufacturer I think.

I like it a lot, but naturally, you will wish it would cut larger than 8". I have seen others that will, but they won't have the high reach or the rotating ability.

Also, I don't think you would want it on a smaller tractor than my Kubota L4610 HSTC (weight wise). also better if you have 4 wheel drive.

If you have a lot to do, you will probably want either a chipper or brush grapple, or maybe both, because you will have a lot to clean up shortly.

I am planning to buy an L3130HST with an LA723 loader and quick hitch adapter. I already have the chipper and are thinking of a grapple for the bucket. How limiting would the L3130 be?

are you doing a lot of yaupon? if so - do a search here or on the net for "brush brute" I want one for all the yaupon I've got - but can't afford it just yet. ~ $1000 I think plus shipping from Canada.

That brush brute looks like quite a good unit. I have some unique problems that make it not quite applicable. Everything that I take out will be going through a chipper, don't want to depend on burning because of fire risk. Plus I will be doing selective clearing and some of my yaupon have 5" trunks. I was figuring to start at the top and cut down in 5 or 6 foot lengths, less chain sawing that way.

Thanks for the info, might want it anyway.
